About

Carbon accounting built where the reporting pressure is arriving.

Karbon360 is a carbon and ESG accounting platform for companies in the Western Balkans. It turns energy and activity data into greenhouse-gas reports a bank, customer or auditor can verify.

Why we built it

Emissions reporting is reaching Balkan companies the same way every compliance requirement does — from outside. An EU customer asks for embedded-emissions data under CBAM. A bank attaches a GHG baseline to a green credit line. A corporate buyer sends a Scope 3 questionnaire with a deadline. None of these are voluntary sustainability projects; they are conditions of doing business.

The tools available for answering them were built elsewhere. Generic international platforms calculate with European-average emission factors that misstate results in this region — on some grids, by multiples. They produce polished reports whose numbers can't be traced when a verifier asks where a figure came from. And they price for markets with sustainability departments.

Karbon360 was built for the actual situation: a finance or operations manager who has been asked for emissions data, has the invoices and records to answer, and needs the calculation between the two to be correct and defensible.

What it does

Companies enter their energy and activity data month by month — electricity, fuels, fleet, facilities, and process emissions for industrial sectors. The platform calculates a greenhouse-gas inventory across Scope 1, Scope 2 and the most commonly requested Scope 3 categories, and produces reports and exports in English, ready for the bank, customer or auditor who asked.

Three principles behind every number

The buyer's real question is never "is the report pretty?" It's "will my bank or my customer accept this?" Everything in the platform serves that question.

01 — LOCAL ACCURACY

Factors that match reality here

Calculations use locally accurate emission factors for the region's grids and fuels — not international averages. Getting the factor right is the difference between a usable report and a wrong one.

02 — TRACEABILITY

Every figure shows its work

Each record stores the exact factor used, its version, and a server-side recomputation. Any number in any report can be traced back to the data and factor that produced it.

03 — HONESTY

Data quality without vanity

Coverage and reconciliation are reported separately, not blended into a score. When something doesn't reconcile, the report says so plainly — because a verifier will notice anyway.

Where we are today

Access to the platform is currently by invitation. We onboard each company through a short data walkthrough, so the first inventory is structured correctly from month one — the setup work determines whether everything after it can be trusted.

Karbon360 is developed by Habitat and based in Prishtina, working with companies across the Western Balkans.
